What is education, and what is its significance? Opinions have varied across time and cultures. We hope that the knowledge we endorse can shorten the time the next generation spends seeking and exploring, elevate the value of life to greater heights, and at the same time, we strive to continuously update this knowledge. Perhaps the original aspiration of education is as simple as this.
There are no fixed standards for education, and we do not wish to educate standardized individuals— that would render the world dull and strip life of all novelty. However, the advent of science has led to the classification of the world, with various principles, theorems, and formulas being incorporated into education. Knowledge has since become standardized, giving rise to the modern form of education as we know it today. What we see in education now seems to be standardized schools, classrooms, textbooks, and teachers and students in uniforms. Many educational fields and institutions have become sources of rigidity and complacency, where personalization and innovation have lost their vitality. In an era where artificial intelligence is transforming education, an even more perilous wave of standardization and closed knowledge systems will severely diminish the diversity and richness of human life. The unique human traits of emotion and imagination risk being stifled or diminished by AI. Therefore, we need to strike a new balance between standardization and personalization.
First and foremost, we must reaffirm the importance of interpersonal communication for the development of individuality— this could be a new and grand track for education. AI has greatly alleviated the inequities caused by the uneven distribution of educational resources, and the speed of knowledge renewal is advancing by leaps and bounds; learning is no longer a time-consuming and arduous process, allowing us to allocate more time to fostering personal growth. The advancement of transportation has completely broken down geographical barriers between cities and countries. New knowledge and technologies generated through interpersonal interactions are expected to surge forth like a tide. The globalization of resources facilitated by communication will drastically reshape the current landscape of education, transform the social fabric of the next generation, and ultimately change the world.
Furthermore, the world remains diverse, cultural differences persist, and education systems vary widely across regions. AI cannot replace education, which is a process infused with emotions and experiences. Unlike industry and agriculture, no two moments or locations in education are identical. Perhaps it is precisely for this reason that the differences between various cultural entities have not diminished, but rather continued to expand. Cultural disparities among nations still plague the world with the risk of conflicts and even wars— a scenario none of us desire. We all strive to change this.
Born in a new era of education, the Global Youth Ambassador Program emerges to embrace this new educational track and explore opportunities for an intelligent society. Through this new global school community, we aim to build a platform for information exchange, interpersonal connections, and intergenerational dialogue to facilitate the sharing of educational resources. We seek to integrate diverse education systems worldwide, pool cutting-edge educational resources and talent, enable the free flow of innovative ideas across the globe, and realize the vision of human interconnectedness and collective progress. Our goal is to create a future human society rooted in heartfelt beliefs in peace and strong friendships forged between individuals— a world where mutual understanding deepens, communication becomes easier, and innovation accelerates.
We aspire to establish a self-driven, mutual-aid exchange system among schools to meet the needs of teachers and students for interactive visits and exchanges. Our focus is placed on the exchange of educational resources for youth education, and we are committed to the concrete participation and implementation of educational exchange programs. We aim to address the practical gaps in cultural integration and educational innovation that have been overlooked for various reasons, and open up new pathways for industries to serve education. Our primary service targets are primary, secondary, and tertiary educational institutions. Through resource sharing among member schools, we strive to maximize educational equity and innovation, and provide new educational opportunities for teachers, students, and parents of every member school. Our core values and mission are: to realize the sharing of educational resources, promote educational equity and innovation, and contribute to the globalization and intelligentization of education. Our main programs include online exchanges, mutual visits, study placements, and international exchange camps. Currently, we have established offices in countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. Over 300 schools worldwide have joined the program, with the number growing at a rate of 200 new members per year. More than 100,000 students have participated in the program to date.
Welcome schools from all over the world to join the Global Youth Ambassador Program!
